I have fitted the brakes today.

Not too difficult to do, but I suspect they will need bedding in to be effective.

Below are the painted components set out on the workbench.

The brakes are then assembled onto the chassis. They are hanging at a bit of an odd angle at the moment as the screw activation mechanism won’t be fitted until much later in the build.

Kit 8 is now almost complete. I just need to run the last pipe for the water pump but want to have a chat to Polly about that before I fit it.

I have also applied some ACF50 to the buffers as they had started to develop a little rust so thought they could do with some protection.
