I decided to have a go at improving the paint on my buffer beams.

All was going well:

  • Wet and dry 1200 grit to get a nice surface
  • Airbrush tested and now working well on compressor
  • Red paint applied and getting a good wet gloss look

THEN……..

Cat hair lands on paint. Can’t get it off. Scratch paint.

WHOLE coat has to come off. In doing so slightly damage the black on the upper surface of the beam.

It is a mess…
