Seeing Molly Ann in her British Racing Green has made me think that I might be being too conservative in my approach to possible colour schemes. I had originally planned to make my Molly Ann look like a GWR 136X locomotive (see my other blogs) but perhaps this isn’t in the spirit of her design and designer Matt from Polly Models.
She isn’t based on any real locomotive so perhaps I shouldn’t be so narrow in my outlook. I have been looking at other 0-6-0 Saddle Tanks with exposed smoke boxes. I found Woolmer and I think the blue looks really good. What do others consider are great looking saddle tanks?
