The graphited yarn arrived this morning so I have been able to finish off the rest of Kit 6.

At this stage the valve chests are left open and only screwed down in a couple of places as the next stage will be to set the timing once the reverser has been installed.

You can see in the photo that the split pin has also been left out of the intermediate valve rod connector this will allow rotation of the valve rod in the next stage to adjust the timing.

The final part of this kit was to fit the oilers to the top of the valve chests. In operation oil is run into these after each session to keep the cylinders lubricated.

I have Kit 7 so can move on immediately to the reverser and the steam pipe work.
