On Monday I had a trip to Kent to see Maxitrak.
As you may know I have a very special example of their Burrell Showman’s Engine. I have had it for a few months and there are some running in fixes that I would like them to do.
It was good to meet Andy, Alex and Michelle again and Andy did some immediate tweaks to the engine. They are going to keep it for a few weeks (Doncaster Show is in the middle) to make some further tweaks to the crankshaft and to the flywheel including adding a brass star to match the motion cover and belly tanks.
I am looking forward to getting her back soon.
