There was another birthday party at Sutton Coldfield MES and I was on general marshalling duties – making sure everyone was staying safe.
I had a treat though as well as the birthday boy! I got to drive this handsome Alchin Royal Chester around the site.
The owner (seen in the photo) very generously offered to let me drive. There was so much power available it hauled me around the site almost on a tick-over. Maybe this is the next thing after Molly Ann but it needs a low loading trailer to move it about.
